Diya Mirza created history when she became the first Miss Asia Pacific from India for the year 2000. Beautiful, cute and mesmerising she had won "Colgate Miss Beautiful Smile" at Femina Miss India 2000 .. she also won many preliminary contests at the International paegent before winning the crown. Diya Mirza then all of 18 years old modelled in quite a few prestigious ad campaigns and became the mascot for "Palmolive" beauty products.
