| Plot: |
Set in New York and New Jersey, circa 1996, Jersey Girl follows Ollie Trinke (Ben Affleck), a slick music promoter whose wife (Jennifer Lopez) is about to give birth to their first child. But a tragic accident leaves Ollie a widower tasked with raising a child by himself. He moves back in with his father (George Carlin) in Jersey, where he meets a flirtatious grad student (Liv Tyler). |
