This movie tells the tale of the Mughal king Emperor Akbar and his Hindu wife Jodha Bhai. Director Ashutosh Gowariker has done extensive research in presenting the correct facts from way back in history and has hired a research team of historians and scholars from Delhi, Lucknow, Agra and Jaipur to guide him on the film.
