Buffy The Vampire Slayer star Alyson Hannigan was so shocked when her former TV co-star Alexis Denisof proposed to her, her brain "shut off." The 28-year-old actress, who plays gay witch Willow in the popular teen TV series, has been dating Denisof, 36, star of Buffy spin-off show Angel, for four years. He proposed to Hannigan during a romantic picnic in California's Napa Valley wine country - and the redhead admits that it was the last thing she'd expected. She laughs, "He shocked the hell out of me! We were driving over Christmas vacation and stopped to have a picnic. He said he was going to get his jacket and came back with a ring. My brain sort of shut off. He told me I could think about it, and I was like, 'Oh no, it's yes!'" The pair expect to marry sometime after she reprises her American Pie role in this summer's appropriately titled American Wedding.
