Film star Ajay Devgan along with his actress wife Kajol, daughter and other family members, escorted by police personnel, on Friday performed Ziyarat at the shrine of the sufi saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti here.
Khadim Qutubuddin Sakhi, who conducted the Ziyarat, later told TNN that Kajol prayed to the Khwaja to be blessed with a son. She was clad in a black burqa.
Devgan, who recently got the National award for the Best Actor for his role in The Legend of Bhagat Singh, was accompanied by his sister and brother-in-law. Incidentally, this is the actor’s fourth visit to the dargah.
Devgan prayed for the success of his forthcoming film Gangajal, directed by Prakash Jha, and for his brother Anil Devgan, who is to make his debut in films shortly, sources added.
