Kylie Minogue is back with her former boyfriend Olivier Martinez and wants to get married, British newspapers have reported.
Insiders say Minogue, 39, is attempting a reconciliation with Martinez, 41, after splitting with him this year amid rumours he was cheating.
Martinez was labelled a love rat for reportedly cheating on Minogue with an Israeli model. But before the split, he lovingly supported Minogue through her breast cancer battle, as part of their four-year relationship.
"Kylie sees Olivier as the love of her life," a source told The Daily Mail in London. "He made her feel like a woman again when she lost her hair. They still have a massive connection."
Minogue has reportedly told the Frenchman: "You must propose or it's over."
"After the split, they texted each other and would reminisce about the good times. Kylie said to him that she missed him so dearly and suggested they should have what she called a 'glorious summer'," said the source.
Minogue has admitted travelling to Martinez's house in Paris regularly in recent weeks, but claimed it was to walk Martinez's dog, a pet the couple shared during their relationship.
But friends have hinted a full reconciliation will be based on the success of Minogue's proposed summer fling. The couple plan to spend a number of weeks in Italy, with Minogue reportedly telling the Frenchman: "You must propose or it's over."
Minogue is, in turn, believed to have promised to cut down on her hectic workload, something that drove a wedge between the couple once she had recovered from cancer.
The 39-year-old star had long talked of her love for the Frenchman, claiming he was a pivotal person during her cancer battle. But she was said to be humiliated by reports of his dalliances, which included the Israeli model Sarai Givati. Since the split, Minogue was also involved in rumours of a cheating scandal, which involved married Chilean film director Alexander Dahm.
The singer angrily denied any wrongdoing.
"I have never been unfaithful to a partner and would find it immoral to be involved with a married man," she said in a statement.
Minogue is said to be giving Martinez a three-month trial, before deciding on the future of their relationship. Reports say the couple plan to work through their difficulties during a break cruising off the Amalfi Coast.
"After that, Kylie has said to him, that will have been a three-month trail, and he has to make up his mind pretty quickly whether he wants to marry her," said The Daily Mail source.
