Jason Bourne to return for 4th installment of Bourne series

Jason Bourne will return for one last job after Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon signed up to make a fourth film in the hit franchise.
The actor and director at the heart of the series' two most recent films had previously played down the idea of a third sequel, saying that they would only consider it if the other one came on board. But Hollywood studio Universal recently announced that a Bourne 4 is on its slate, although it gave no firm deadline for a release.
Both Greengrass and Damon have busy diaries, so it could be some time before the proposed film sees the light of day. The pair are currently working together on Green Zone, an adaptation of Imperial Life in the Emerald City, a chronicle of life inside Baghdad's Green Zone by Washington Post journalist Rajiv Chandrasekaran.
Damon will next start work on The Informant, a drama by Steven Soderbergh in which he will portray a corporate executive who testifies against his employer for the US government. Soderbergh and Damon previously worked together on Ocean's Eleven and its two sequels. Damon could also appear in The Human Factor, Clint Eastwood's movie about South Africa's post-apartheid years. He is currently in talks to work on the movie, which will star Morgan Freeman as Nelson Mandela.
Meanwhile, Greengrass has said he will work on They Marched into Sunlight, the Vietnam-war drama. However, it could well be that Bourne 4 takes precedence over these projects, as the previous three films have been big hits at the box office. On Sunday, the Bourne Ultimatum collected three Oscars, including best film editing, best sound editing and best sound mixing.
